I'm now past the point where I began bleeding with Simeon. It's a relief.
I'm struggling every day. Fighting the belly everyday. But still have only had the one 'episode' and I'm keeping fairly well hydrated. In light of that, I would consider this one of my milder pregnancies. I think 2 factors are tops in this. 1. I was well prepared. 2. I have help from my big guys so I don't have to push myself to do anything while very nauseated. I still remember once when we'd a big snowfall during Mim's pregnancy that I forced myself to help the boys all get ready to play outside and as soon as they were out--losing it. It's easier to keep things down if you stay motionless.
I think we're getting a dishwasher on Monday. I hope so. Dishes and meal clean up remains one of the harder things. I usually feel the best around dinner time and then I get to see what my kitchen looks like. I don't always react well. I can usually stay there long enough to clean off the counters and wash them and the stove top. Sometimes wipe down a few doors. I suggested rather politely (shocking that I was polite) that perhaps if people made sure their hands were clean before opening doors then they would be clean also.
Now to just make it through December.....

So sorry about your illness! I was bedridden with morning sickness for my last 2 pregnancies, it is a terrible feeling. Does it go away for you after the first trimester?
I can usually begin to crawl out of it beginning week 13 or so. I try to wean off the anti nausea by week 15-16 and I can usually resume most of my life around then. I know I'm blessed in that.
I went to your page. You have a lovely baby! ;0)
