My midwife came yesterday and all is well. Baby played hard to catch for a few minutes and scared this mama quite a bit but he/she was found and the heart sounded really awesome. I'm always amazed to find out there really really is a baby in there! My m/w always checks iron-I remember telling her last time it's never been an issue and it isn't this time either. Odd isn't it?
She has a patient near here due in January so said she'd be coming to me the next couple times while she's out this way anyway. Then we'll meet halfway as we did when I was preggy with Simeon. I'm thankful since it gives me time to get on my feet and not have to worry about getting out when I'm not feeling great.
I am doing better. I would have done much better today but was struck with another bad headache (maybe migraine--I never did learn the difference).
I got a seed catalog and Zeke and I have decided to focus on landscaping type stuff this year. Lilacs, berries, trees, perennials, etc. We are interested in raised bed gardening and he says we can do both, but hey--let's be realistic. I'm due around July 7th. I likely won't be any good past the end of May as far as outdoor stuff is concerned. Firstly because I'll be huge and afterly because I'll be busy feeding a newborn. We are talking about more chickens too so the gardening really might have to wait. Maybe just a few things we absolutely can't do without?
