Over a week?

I must be slipping. I don't have the brain power anymore apparently to be writing posts or at least if I do work on one, it's before I fall asleep and by the next day I forget I was going to post at all.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if my friend from Adventures of the Simple Life is ok?

I was able to walk 4 days in a row last week. 3 of those times I went to the end of the lane and back. I think my legs look a bit less 'puffy'--ick. It's been raining off and on for a few days so no walks lately. I did get my exercise in on Thursday--first Sam's/Walmart trip combo in a long while. Hadn't tried Sam's since I did the stock up when newly preggy. I did ok, but was SO beat when I got home! I also spent a LOT considering I bought all those things--bulk sugar, bulk Cheerios (it's the only dry cereal I get really--for 'rushed' mornings. we mostly eat oatmeal--baked or stove top, eggs, waffles, etc). It was difficult fitting everything in the van. Ugh.

I guess I was so busy that day I didn't notice baby when she was moving and then when I was resting--so was she. She has been quite busy yesterday and today. No more worries! Simeon was a very busy boy in the womb and I suppose I expect the same from baby. I shouldn't. 24 weeks on Monday.

Zeke finally was conquered by the flu we all have had. Fever, coughing, etc. Having either him or Elijah down is hard on us! They are so much help! Today I've cleaned my bathroom, vacuumed, washed floors, paid bills, cleaned kitchen after b-fast and lunch, made the b-fast, made bread--usually he'd do at least part of that!

Hoping Lucien is able to get some of our family room project done this afternoon after Sim wakes up. He now has Saturdays off for a while. yay! My recliner and ottoman are arriving on Tuesday. I was SO hoping to have painted by then! We removed a large bookcase--built in and some of the shelves were cracking--and behind it was ORANGE paint. Ghastly. The room is currently dark green. Can you imagine how ghastly? Lucien has a couple more things to do before I can paint over it.

My princess is growing up so fast lately! It is such a joy to have a little young lady in the house. I have to put up new pics soon. I am thankful for my sons too, but I cherish the differences having had 4 of them first. Girlish-ness is a wonderful thing! I'm not quite sure yet if I believe baby is another girl--it's too amazing I suppose! On the one hand, yes, I do believe it, but on the other--it's just one of those things ya gotta see. There are so many things I'm looking forward to doing with my girls. Brings tears to my eyes!

Schooling is going better lately. We're getting back into a routine tho I still am not in the habit of our usual read alouds. My lungs still have a bit of phlegm in them and the reading gets me coughing. I miss it. I hope we can start again this week.
