Another project completed!

Here it is--or half of it. You get the idea. On the other side of the room is the blue chair in the post below, the stage piano, and tv. I plan to get an area rug so we can use the ottoman by the sofa--it will not stay put on the wood floor--it slides. I'm thinking dk--like the recliner for the rug. Not sure yet. It feels SO good to have another project behind us. See in the corner behind the green chair? There used to be a doorway there. You can barely tell it was, well unless you go around since the hall side is not painted yet. In the pic below you can see the green color this room used to be. I think it's also in one of my however many weeks along pics in a post below. The new color may be a tad 'boring' according the boys, but I like it.
Lucien thought Simeon wearing princess' hat was noteworthy. He likes to dress up. Mostly he does NOT wear her stuff tho so we'll let it go.
We've had an interesting weekend. Resurrection Day was wonderful. We had a church meal. Our pastor put families together--2 or 3 to a group and those in each group split up what needed to be done for a feast. Like-table decor, elements of the meal (we decided ham or lamb or whatever), drinks, and all accessories. I had the table decor, accessories, roasted asparagus, and cheesecake. I wondered if I could pull it off given my lack of energy, but it went very well. My table was likely the most colorful! My choices are so whacky these days! What can I say? I decided to roast the asparagus in my roaster at the hall and that worked as well as I could have wished. My boys want me to roast asparagus again very soon. (I always seem to do things I've never done before for these meals--very weird since ya never know how it will turn out....)
It was lovely to have Lucien home for 3 days in a row. We accomplished much and he had time to do simple things like walking to the frog pond with the smallest of our bunch, planting my lilacs and blueberry bushes and fixing a bike for boy4. Life seems no good without time to do simple things.
Well, I'm officially in the 3rd trimester. I wish I could say I felt well, but I *am* happy. I have started using ginger in the a.m. again. It helps the full, indigestion feeling a bit. Anyway, I guess I'll live through this. :0) And I'm anxious to meet this person who likes to kick in the middle of the night....
